Solution: Embrace Mobile provides a virtual ‘community space’ where attendees can share their interests with each other and exchange messages.
How it works: The virtual space is much like a social networking website, like LinkedIn, where users can share profile information about themselves. The Embrace Mobile messaging platform enables access to this space through the mobile phone, using the most appropriate access mechanism for that device, text messages, web pages for the phone, or a downloaded application. The profile pages are initially populated with information collected at registration time and can be updated and enhanced by the attendee.
Attendees can message each other and also chat in groups, both through web pages and text messages. Messages are addressed using proper names, not through mobile phone numbers, ensuring privacy and constraining the space to before, during, and after the conference.
